What the Job Entails

General support and config — Exchange mailboxes, shared folder access, MS Office, LOB apps
Project implementation — Email migrations, cloud desktop migrations, server migrations
Backup application support and config — Acronis, Backup Exec, Mozy Pro, CrashPlan
Network support and config — DHCP, DNS, VPN, PPTP, IPSEC, ICMP, FTP, SFTP
Security appliance support and config — WatchGuard, Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall
Server support and config — Windows 2003, 2008, 2011, 2012, SBS and STD

Desired Characteristics of Applicant


At least 1 year experience working in technology support
Ability to pass a technology aptitude test
Proven troubleshooting skills
Professional and outgoing demeanor
Attention to detail
Ambitious and committed to excellence
Strong organizational skills
Willing to work long hours when necessary
Ability to work on weekends and evenings
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Valid drivers license
EXCELLENT customer service skills
Desire to learn and be coached
Patience and humility
Comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment

Preferred Experience

MCTS, or other Microsoft certification
