At Tech Guru, we’re all about keeping our clients’ technology running smoothly in a behind-the-scenes kind of way. Once in awhile, though, we get to save the day live and in person. (Which is pretty cool, especially for those of us on the Tech Guru team who loved super heroes when we were kids.)
A save-the-day moment happened a few Saturdays ago when a terrific client of ours, EZ Air Park, experienced a mission-critical computer failure. The local offsite airport parking company provides 24-hour non-stop airport shuttles to the from MSP airport, and the computer failure had the potential to “ground” EZ Air Park’s operations.
Fortunately, EZ Air Park had signed on with Tech Guru just a few months prior to the incident and was able to call our service hotline. Within a couple of hours, Tech Guru had everything up and running again.
“We had identified ahead of time that this particular computer would be problematic, but the client wasn’t ready to replace it,” explains Tech Guru CEO Dan Moshe. “Since it was on our radar, we already had loaner equipment ready to go. Our on-call technician grabbed the extra piece of hardware at our Minneapolis office, zipped out to EZ Air Park, and solved the problem.”
