Started in 1986 by Pat Weber, the firm has since grown has grown into a 14-person firm. Mike Deegan joined Pat in 1991. Pat Weber retired in 2013, leaving Mike Deegan as managing shareholder (Michael Schaefbauer, Timothy Thompson, and John Barghini are also shareholders). “We’re looking for clients with issues,” says Barghini. “Our value is not in just putting numbers on a tax return.”
Barghini gives the example of a business owner looking a the implications of various transactions.
