Laughter Yoga on January 21 – A TRULY Happy Hour!

Among small business IT service providers in Minneapolis, this event is almost certainly the first of its kind.  Tech Guru’s Laughter Yoga & Chocolate Happy Hour might sound like something cooked up by “Chief Fun Officer” Maria Lundberg, but hosting this event is actually the idea of the company’s CEO and founder Dan Moshe.  This January 21 event will leave you feeling de-stressed and truly happy!

The Fun Way to Health and Happiness

Laugh with Sarah founder Sarah Routman knows laughter produces positive outcomes for participants in her classes.  They report feeling more productive and more oriented in the present after a session with Sarah.

Friends of Tech Guru are invited to try laughter yoga for FREE!  The after-work event includes chocolate and light appetizers.

Leave Your Reservations at the Door

Laughter yoga is a terrific addition to any work environment.  Sarah explains, “It relieves stress, boosts morale, increases productivity, and it’s fun.”

But what if you’re shy, or cranky, or feel silly laughing in front of strangers?  Sarah has seen it all, and the outcome for those in the class is always the same.  “There are days when even I don’t feel happy, or feel like going to class,” says Sarah.  “For anyone who has hesitations, just show up.  Before you know it you’re laughing.  It’s a very non-threatening environment.  At the end of a 30-minute session you’ll feel so much better.”

Sarah loves to remind people how great laughing is for your body physically.  It’s terrific exercise – couple hundred laughs is equal to ten minutes of rowing!  Even the simple act of smiling sends endorphins to your brain immediately.

Double Down Dog Dare Ya

Sarah starts with an easy exercise at the beginning of class, and it’s one you can try wherever you are now.  What are you afraid of?  Accidentally laughing?!

Smile Push-Ups

  1. Smile a great big smile.
  2. Make a straight face.
  3. Repeat 10 times.

It worked, didn’t it?  There you are feeling better.
