Tech Guru CEO and EBITDA Partner Dan Moshe

Say it three times, and the magic genie will grant you a phenomenal brain trust: “EE-bit-duh!”  For those not familiar with the accounting shorthand for “cash flow,” the name is fitting for the group of independent service providers comprised of “everyone you’d want in your boardroom,” says Dan.  Members are experts in the core areas of strategic planning, operations, sales, information technology, brand marketing, employee engagement, financial management, legal, and accounting.

The Perfect Tech Partner

When asked how he and Dan met, EBITDA Partners principal Cliff Allen jokes, “Our parole officer introduced us!”  In reality, the partnership had been looking for a technology leader to be “the man on the ground” while Joe Nemastil works out of Zurich.  Already having established a longtime relationship with Dan through Tech Guru, Joe introduced him to the partnership.  Cliff and the partners were delighted to find the missing piece to the puzzle and invited Dan to join.  Says Cliff, “Dan brought us a living, breathing business, focused on the same markets with a similar mission.  He generously shares his knowledge, helps people and is an integral part of the business community.”

Carefully Curated Expertise

When partnering with small- to medium-sized businesses up to (and sometimes above) 30 million dollars in revenue, Cliff explains the concept of the partnership. “We have experts, with real world experience, who do everything that an executive management team employee would do for a company.”  Specifically organized as a business resource group focused on helping clients (not a networking group), members do not collect finders’ fees or share revenue.  “We’re not in the partnership to make money; we’re in it to help clients and build our own businesses,” says Cliff, who co-founded the group eight years ago with Jack Thompson.  “Probably half my business is from relationships anchored in the partnership.”

You Have an “In” to Member Events

Tech Guru clients will hear about the latest EBIDTA Partners events, where the monthly topic of discussion is “sometimes leading-edge, sometimes fundamental things business owners ought to know about,” says Cliff.  “All my clients would benefit from attending these events,” adds Dan.

April 16, you’re invited to Thielen’s Roseville office, 2675 Long Lake Road. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for registration, and networking and the seminar starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. and wraps up by 9:30 a.m.
